About Treasured Cotons

Treasured Cotons is not really a "kennel," since our dogs are truly members of our family first and foremost. Our dogs (one Coton and two Labs) share our home and bed with us and are our constant companions.

In 2003, I had been researching a small dog for myself.  I was looking for a companion dog, something small and fluffy.  My oldest daughter told me about an adorable breed she had encounter while traveling in Northern California.

I began doing research to learn more about the Coton de Tulear.  At first I thought it was a joke, no dog could really be as perfect as what I was reading in the description of the breed.  It was as though someone had been eaves dropping on my description of the perfect dog for me!  I was so excited!  To learn about the breed I read everything I could find.  It just kept getting better and better.  I contacted several breeders and discussed the breed.  The more I learned the more in love and enchanted with the breed I became.  It wasn’t long before we realized that Dolly’s unique beauty, personality and loving temperament were very characteristic of this wonderful breed, the Coton de Tulear.

As a breeder, I strive to continue these endearing qualities in every puppy I am given the privilege to produce, with my goal to protect, surpass and improve the breed with each litter. Health, wonderful temperament, beauty and highly socialized Cotons are paramount in my breeding program..

I strive to give each puppy all the attention, love and socialization needed so they can bring their new family all the joy and companionship that our Dolly has brought into our lives.
